Halfway Through the Year

The past six months have been a whirlwind of music, growth, and adventure. From electrifying performances to heartwarming teaching moments, I've been on an exhilarating journey that I can't wait to share with you. Get ready for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look and a glimpse of the exciting things to come!

Musical Highlights and Inspirations:

March was a particularly memorable month, filled with two fantastic performances with pianist Will Fergusson: the "Contrasts and Connections" concert at Anteros Arts Foundation and the closing concert of the Artistic Field spring series in Bungay. The energy and enthusiasm from both audiences were truly memorable. But my musical adventures didn't stop there! I was lucky enough to witness the incredible talent of other musicians, including a breathtaking performance by violinist Hannah Perowne with the Academy of St. Thomas and the wildly creative show "Dracula in Space" by the Bowjangles String Quartet.

Sharing the Joy of Music:

Although performing remains my passion, I've also had the privilege of collaborating with Hannah Perowne to mentor some of her students. There's a unique joy in guiding aspiring musicians and witnessing those "aha!" moments as they master new skills.

A Thriving Music Community:

Reconnecting with the vibrant music scene here in the East of England has been revitalising. I've met so many passionate and talented individuals, and I'm eager to explore potential collaborations and the many opportunities this region has to offer.

Embracing Growth and Independence:

Taking on more of the administrative and promotional aspects of my career has been a learning curve, but it's also pushed me to grow as both a musician and an entrepreneur. This newfound independence is exciting, opening doors to new creative possibilities and projects.
